When you are about to choose a contractor to carry out work for your company or family how can you be sure to choose a good contractor.
There are many different things you can do, to help you make that choice. One of the most important things to look for is can they provide you with customers that are pleased to give tesimonials for their work? Or do they have strong alliances with other property or building companies?
Can they provide you with a good quality written quotation does it include terms and conditions? Does it clearly state what is included and excluded from the quotation?
Do they have procedures in place for each stage of the works? What about if things change or you would like to alter the specifications? Do they provide work variation orders?
A few simple questions asked in advance of the works starting can save time and expense once the project is under way.
Remember a good contractor will always be pleased to answer these questions as it is an oppotunity for them to show they do things correcty.
