The purchase of two large London Office buildings in the heart of central London has been completed for in excess of ?250 million pounds. Much of the money for this and other UK commercial property deals is flowing into an increasingly bullish market from pension funds, looking for a better return than some of their other investments.
This adds further weight to the recent wave of acquisitions that are increasingly soaking up any spare high end commercial property investments. Many are now calling a full recovery with the only thing restraining the upward move in commercial property values is the short term rental returns.
